Stickfish, s.r.o., Sun Microsystems partner of the year 2007, supplies a unique solution – the virtual enterprise desktop Raydesk.

The Sun Ray 2 virtual display terminals only display a user environment on connected LCD monitors. These workstations are very easy to set up and are not susceptible to breakdowns. Applications run on a server. The workstations do not need to be upgraded to new models like other personal computers and do not contain a CPU, RAM, or a graphics adapter.

Raydesk is a modern virtual desktop that provides its users with a work desktop with only such applications that have been assigned to them.

As all data is stored on servers, it is easy and financially effective to guarantee regular back-ups. A user is never allowed access to the administrator account so there is no risk of viruses and other malicious software or copyright violating media files infiltrating company network. A user is not allowed to install unapproved applications or connect unapproved peripheral devices. Stickfish Raydesk supports precise policy configuration regarding user access to individual applications and data which lowers the risk of an unauthorised breach of confidential information (such as ERP or CRM).
