Raydesk 2.51 to Finals of IT Product of 2009

The VDI solution, Stickfish Raydesk 2.51 has been chosen by an expert panel to compete in the final of the IT Product of 2009 contest. This traditional contest is held by the Computerworld magazine with the aim to promote products positively differentiated from their competition. Raydesk has been chosen as a Virtual Desktop in the Enterprise Software category. Reviewers praised the following functions and features:

• centralised administration of user profiles
• seamless integration of applications from heterogenous networks (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AS/400, QNX)
• limiting criteria for access to applications (based on time, workstation)
• support for directory services (LDAP, MS Active Directory)
• minimal consumption of system resources
• support for operation within clusters/virtualised infrastructures
